With gratitude...

Hi Parents!

Tomorrow is the big day. The kids are ready to journey on to a new learning ground. I want to say thank you for an amazing year! Thank you for sharing your children with me, and supporting their growth and learning throughout the year. Thank you also for the generous class gift that I opened with the children today. I will certainly have a good time spending my gift cards at Bancroft and Wegmans.

I look forward to seeing you all tomorrow at the 5th Grade Completion Ceremony. I believe guests will be seated beginning at 8:35 and the ceremony starts promptly at 9:00am. Students will come to school and change into their gray completion ceremony shirt. Shorts or skirts are encouraged to go with as it will be hot.

If you would like to take your child home following the ceremony please remember that you need to come to the classroom to sign them out. I will also have the completion certificate, Team 105 cd/slideshow and a small additional memory packet as well. It's worth stopping in, and I look forward to seeing you all.

Of course your child is also welcome to stay until dismissal :)

Thank you again! It was a great year, and I am going to miss your children.
Sincerely,
Ms. Moores

Friday!

Today was the last Wednesday of the year... I can honestly say that this year went by TOO fast! I guess I have to let them move on soon, but in the meantime we have lots left to do :)

Friday is our field trip to the Museum of Science and the kids are really looking forward to it.

Students will be eating their lunch at the museum, and will not be able to purchase items from the cafeteria. Please make sure your child comes to school with a bag lunch. I recommend that you send it in a labeled brown bag with disposable items inside. There isn't a place to store bags after lunch so your child will have to carry whatever they need to take home.

Students should not bring money for the gift shop and are not allowed to bring a camera on the trip due to school policy.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
