Thanks for visiting the classroom website!  I am thrilled about the opportunity to get to know you, and I am looking forward to a happy and productive school year. 

       

         This website will be a great tool to keep you and your parents up on current events and homework in the classroom. Please take a moment to fill out a quick student survey, and also ask your parents to fill out the parent survey. This information will help me prepare for the school year.

I would like to remind you about my exciting news that I am expecting a baby in early December.  I will be taking a few months to be at home with the new baby at that time. I realize that it may be scary to think about your teacher leaving you during the school year; so I am working hard with Ms. Kennelly to find the perfect teacher for you while I am away, and I will be back before you know it. Though I will be away for a few months, I will still be leading Student Council and the 5th Grade Play. Both activities are a ton of fun and great ways to get involved with different people in the 5th grade.

I would love the opportunity to meet you before the start of school. I will be in room 105 during the open house on Thursday, August 25th from 11:00 - 12:00. Please stop by to say hi!

Remember there is no need to bring any personal supplies this year. Everything that I expect you to use this year including pencil box, binder, and notebooks will be provided for you when you get to the classroom. The only thing you will need on the first day is a snack and a smile!
