Tie-Dye shirts!

What a gorgeous day for camp! All of the students got a chance to create a unique Tie-Dye shirt today. It will come home in a zip-lock bag. In order to preserve the vibrant color the first thing you should do is take it out of the bag and leave it out to dry. When it is pretty dry put it in the Dryer on high heat for 5 or 10 minutes to fully set the color. After that you can wash and wear as you would normally. It is important that you dry the shirt completely before wearing or the color will wash out.

The students may choose to use this shirt for their field day iron-on if they would like. Just send it back to camp with them and I will hold on to it till Monday when we do the iron-ons. If anyone would like to donate a package of printable iron-on sheets for us to use that would be great. If not I will just pick a package up this weekend :)

Let me know if you have any questions.
